Port Edgar is a family run farm that is located in the south of West Falkland. It has self catered accommodation. With wonderful experiences for all the family. We are open all year round and locals can use their travel credits.

Accessible
The cottage is accessible by car on the ferry and by plane (FIGAS).
Carbon footprint reducing scheme
£1 per day per person goes towards planting tussac and trees, to help reduce your carbon footprint. This provides shelter for our animals and helps the land to retain water.

Food
You can purchase the following; Eggs, mutton and veg. We are a self sufficient farm, we produce our own meat and eggs and grow our own vegetables.
Fuel
If you need fuel for your vehicle then you can buy fuel from Fox Bay or from the farm. We have 24hr power that comes from solar panels.
Paddle board and kayak hire
You can hire our paddle board or kayak for £30 per day. Life jackets are available and must be worn. The harbour is a great place to explore by paddle board and kayak.
Accreditation
Moelwyn cottage is currently accredited by the Falkland Islands Tourist Board, we currently have 3 stars. They have provided my with a grant that has meant we were able to extend the living area and add an extra bedroom. We are always making changes to ensure that you have the best experience possible.
